How often can product data and individual product attributes, such as inventory levels, be updated?

You can update product data in two ways. A full import can be scheduled as often as every 15 minutes. For quicker changes, the REST API lets you update specific data, like inventory levels, in near real-time. These updates are processed in just a few seconds.

Can FactFinder display inspirational content, like popular search queries, when the empty search bar is clicked?

FactFinder can provide such content via the Suggest API. Elements like popular search terms are available by default for all configured languages. Recently used search terms are typically provided either through the user's browser or the eCommerce platform.

Does FactFinder recognize synonyms and related terms and include them in the search results?

FactFinder offers both automatic and manual creation of synonyms in multiple languages and applies these during search. In addition to synonyms, FactFinder also manages and uses antonyms, as well as a pre-processing stage that allows words or phrases to be adapted before being passed to the search engine, if required.

Can additional filter options be added to the FactFinder filter panel without needing the dev team?

Yes, with FactFinder, users can independently create, manage, and edit filters (or facets) – without any support from the dev team. The facets are accessible through our published API.

Can filter options be arranged so that the most popular filters for each category or search term appear at the top?

FactFinder offers the ability to individually configure and customize filters for different categories.

Is the FactFinder user interface intuitive, allowing for efficient configuration of search, sorting, and filtering?

Can detailed reports be generated on the usage of search and filter functions?

FactFinder Analytics provides various metrics on search terms, their interaction rates, interaction rates for product and merchandising campaigns, as well as information on the most popular filters and filter options.
